American Zoroastrian Society introduces the Premiere of My Path to Asha – Episode 1 Now Live!
The American Zoroastrian Society is proud to launch My Path to Asha, a new powerful video series hosted by Robert St. Thomas that explores the personal journeys of individuals as they discover Zoroastrianism and live by the timeless teachings of Zarathushtra in the Gathas.
Each conversation shares authentic experiences and reflections on an individual’s path to Asha-truth, harmony, and goodness-revealing how Zoroastrian values continue to resonate in modern life. Please note: The interviews expressed are personal to each guest and may not represent those of the American Zoroastrian Society. Embracing Zoroastrianism inherent pluralism, our goal is to honor, celebrate, and amplify these voices, fostering connection and inspiration for all who seek wisdom wherever they are.
Our host: Robert St. Thomas
Robert St. Thomas, also known as “Bahram Anushiravan,” was born and raised in Anaheim, California September 11th, 1990. As an avid historian, Robert has a deep passion for the pre-Islamic history and culture of Greater Iran. A devoted Zoroastrian, he is actively involved in his community and its causes, working to preserve and promote the teachings of his faith. Robert began his higher education journey at Fullerton College, studying Business, and is currently at Saddleback College, where he is preparing to transfer to the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He plans to pursue a PhD in Iranian History, furthering his commitment to understanding and sharing the rich history of Greater Iran.
Our guest: Colby Helms
Colby Helms is a father, husband, educator, and philosopher. Born and raised in the rural South, Colby was drawn to Zoroastrianism for its philosophically robust vision of justice and divinity. Colby envisions a Zoroastrianism that upholds the supremacy of Ahura Mazda while embracing the sacred truths woven into the various ancient traditions founded within Zoroastrian history.
Colby currently works as a teacher in Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University and is pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration. Outside the classroom, he shares his insights on religion, philosophy, and Zoroastrianism through his YouTube channel, Helm of Philosophy.
