Our guest: Manijeh Pouliot

Manijeh Pouliot was born in Tehran, Iran in a very loving family with 3 siblings. She migrated to US when she turned 20 years old mainly for her freedom and pursuing her education. Being the nerd of family, she focused on her studies as soon as she arrived to the United States. She studied her undergrad at University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, then moved to CA and received her PharmD degree from University of Southern CA.

She has held multiple leadership positions at Scripps hospital and pharmaceutical companies. She is currently medical director of hematology-oncology at Pfizer Inc. She is also an affiliate faculty at Skaggs School of Pharmacy, University of California-San Diego.

Manijeh’s highest pride and joy is her wonderful son, Shayan who has earned his professional engineering license and lives in San Diego. She lives with her husband, Adam and their little dog, Simba in Solana Beach where she embraces her active and outdoorsy lifestyle, enjoying beautiful beaches and amazing sunsets that she never gets enough of. She also loves to read, travel abroad, and to spend time with family and friends.

Our host: Robert St. Thomas

Robert St. Thomas – also known as “Bahram Anushiravan” – was born and raised in Anaheim, California, on September 11, 1990. As an avid historian, Robert has a deep passion for the pre-Islamic history and culture of Greater Iran. A devoted Zoroastrian, he is actively involved in his community and its causes, working to preserve and promote the teachings of his faith.

Robert began his higher education journey at Fullerton College, studying Business, and is currently at Saddleback College, where he is preparing to transfer to the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He plans to pursue a PhD in Iranian History, furthering his commitment to understanding and sharing the rich history of Greater Iran.
