From Plato and Nietzsche to Stoic thinkers—and even admired by Jefferson and other American founders—the Gathas belong to humanity’s long search for wisdom. Just as philo-sophia means “love of wisdom”, Zoroastrianism, also known as mazda-yasna, means “devotion to wisdom”. Gathas in Practice is a casual roundtable where we learn from one another while exploring how this ancient yet ever-fresh philosophy can guide everyday life. All are welcome—whether you’re new to the Gathas or already familiar with them. No background required; the spirit is to learn, reflect, and grow together. Over time, we’ll add sessions for each of the 17 songs of the Gathas. 🔥
